With a diverse background in the field of chemical engineering, particularly in the paper industry, I have held various positions throughout my career. Starting as a Production Engineer at DS Smith in Belisce, Croatia, I then transitioned to a Research Engineer role at the Technical Research Center of Finland (VTT Jyväskylä).
After successfully work in VTT, I joined Finnish company Valmet, the largest supplier of paper machines in the world at the time, as Head of Research and Development. Additionally, I earned my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Åbo Akademi University in Finland and held an Associate Professor position in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering.
Later, I signed a contract with ANDRITZ AG and served as the Director for R&D Tissue & Paper Drying Systems and Director of Air Systems & Runnability in the Paper, Fiber, and Recycling Division, where I worked until 2021. Afterward, I founded my own company, Nemitek Technology, in Graz, Austria. My extensive technical knowledge, industry experience, and strong sense for new business opportunities have enabled me to fulfill my dream and establish Nemitek Technology.
